Dear colleagues, These pages are designed to evaluate age using our method from a large ongoing international study of age evaluation of children. We have collected data from as many countries as possible, and would welcome new collaborations. As new data are added to the database, if it is necessary, we will modify the regression equation. The original method of age evaluation was published in the International Journal of Legal Medicine (2006) 120;49-52, Age estimation in children by measurement of open apices in teeth. Cameriere R, Ferrante L, Cingolani, M. The first sample was about 300 children aged between 5 and 15 years from Macerata, Italy. A requirement to use this method of age evaluation is Adope Photoshop (or equivalent) and EXCEL. On the first page of this website the participating countries are listed. The second page explains the method, the third page is news about new collaborations etc. The last page is the EXCEL data page to estimate age using our method.
